Leaving on a jet plane

I’m writing this newsletter on a plane to California.
My husband and I are on our way to San Diego for a three part trip – part conference, part visiting with my sister and part business planning.
This trip originally came about because I was invited to a conference with the Alzheimer’s Association (a passion of mine, check out more about why this is so important to me here).
My husband has never been to CA so I figured I could invite him along. 😛 Plus, I grew up in CA and my sister, brother-in-law and three adorable nephews still live there so of course my next thought was, how can we extend our trip so we can visit them? And then, the icing on the cake was that this was all happening in January, the month of the year where we normally take a few days to do some business planning away from home anyway!
Which leads to the whole point of this week’s ramblings – I am in control of my own time off. I own two businesses, create my own schedule and have the freedom and flexibility to do things like this.
No permission needed.
Have you ever felt like you want to dip your toes in the entrepreneurial waters but aren’t quite sure or are nervous to make the leap? (Which is totally ok, by the way!)
Then the book that comes out next week is a must for you.
Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield will walk you through how to finally start that side hustle and then, you guessed it, give your two weeks notice so you can take it full time!
I’ve been following Amy for a few years now and she knows her stuff (she’s built a multi-million dollar business, so I would hope so!).
That plus I just love helping and seeing others follow their entrepreneurial dreams. I have been doing it myself for going on SEVEN years now, and I would never go back, I love the freedom too much!
If you've been considering a side hustle or are ready to take your current one full time, go on. Pre-order a copy of Amy’s book and take a chance on yourself.
If not now, when?
