Happy Thursday, happy April and happy birthday month to meeee!!

I don't know about you, but I LOVE birthdays! I don't know what it is. It's not about gifts or parties or spending a ton of money. Maybe it's about the cake hmmmm....I do love a good cake! 🎂 (Or any chocolaty dessert really...but I digress.)

If you know my husband, send him this photo!

Events like birthdays can be a stress on some budgets, though. Do you have an amount that you spend on birthday festivities for your kids or partner? Have you ever paid attention to the total you spend for a birthday? If you're not careful, it can creep up into several hundreds of dollars.

I'm not here to tell you how much you should or shouldn't spend on a birthday. I'm just here to ask, do you know the number? And are you ok with that number?

Everything in your budget comes down to your priorities. What is most important to you right now? And are your dollars reflected that way? If not, it might be worth taking some time to evaluate your spending!
